The existing references about high end graphical solution AMD r680 can be recognized as sufficiently inaccurate. To us it is known that this graphical solution can become two-chip product on base of RV670; however, this information, until now, is not confirmed officially. The new technical process allow to raise the video chip frequency up to 800 MHz. The GDDR- 3 memory capacity will be equal to 512 mb or 1 Gb depending on the version. R680 will obtain the support Of crossFire X, PCI express 2.0, DirectX 10.1, UVD and HDMI. Video card on base Of r680, RV635 and RV620 will be presented in the first quarter 2008. The Two last chip will be released on 55 nm technology, and will replace RV630 and RV610 respectively, after proposing as bonus the PCI express 2.0, DirectX 10.1 DisplayPort support . The support to this last interface will not be added in r680 .  The deliveries of RV620 models will begin during December . Video card on base of RV620 will exist in low-end profile , they can be equipped with DDR-2 memory (frequency 400-500 MHz DDR) or DDR- 3 (frequency 800 MHz DDR) with capacity from 64 to 256 mb.  We should consider that RV620 in any case has only 64- bit memory system bus . In other side the support of hardware acceleration to blu-ray and HD DVD, and also a wide set of interfaces for monitors connection and television sets (DVI, D -Sub, S -Video, HDMI, DisplayPort).
