Intel has decided to divide the desktop market for six target segments. It will look as follows:
- Enthusiast - powerful PC based on Intel Core i7 processors for gaming and audio and video processing;
- Mainstream - mass systems based on Core i5 and Core i3 with a good price-performance ratio;
- All-in-one (AIO) - monoblocks with advanced power-saving features and a focus on multimedia capabilities;
- Mini PC or NUC (next unit compute ) - PC in a small form factor processors Atom, Celeron, Core and Pentium running Microsoft Windows 10, or Google Chrome;
- Mobile desktop replacements (Portable AIO) - productive system powerful and economical processors Core i7 or Core i5, designed to transport;
- Compute sticks - the so-called USB-computers running Microsoft Windows 10, or Google Chrome.
Interestingly, the highest points of growth, according to Intel, have segments Enthusiast, Mini PC, and Compute sticks. Related Products :
