When NVIDIA company presented its Hybrid SLI technology , some users regretted immediately the limited functionality. For example, the simultaneous use of several monitors is not supported. Furthermore, switching between operating modes is achieved by hand, and only in future drivers versions it will be automated.
As it is explained, Hybrid SLI technology has some limitations on the graphic regimes. Monitor is connected to the DVI port only ( on the motherboard ), which supports the resolution not more than 1900 X 1200. In other words, Dual- link DVI by chipset series nForce 7xxa is not supported.
NVIDIA promises, that the following chipset generation will remove this limitation.
