Qualcomm has said that it was able to sign licensing agreements with two Chinese campaigns Haier and Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment. These manufacturers will pay Qualcomm royalties for the use of its technology related standards 3G and 4G, smartphones and other mobile devices, according to DigiTimes. Qualcomm claims that the new agreement with Haier and Tianyu is not contrary to the Chinese anti-monopoly legislation, and meets the requirements of the National Commission for Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC). Unfortunately, Qualcomm has not said how much it will charge for its technology. Earlier, Qualcomm has reached similar agreements with several other Chinese manufacturers, including companies such as Huawei, TCL, Xiaomi and ZTE. Recall that last year, NDRC special committee conducted an investigation against Qualcomm, and imposed on the company a fine of about $ 975 million, for violations of laws in China. Qualcomm has paid the funds, and also agreed to follow the proposed plan to change the policy of doing business in China. Related Products :
