In 2006 Dell company began to sell servers and desktop computers on base of AMD processors , and the appearance of this partner helped AMD to increase its market share. Dell is one of the most important producers . The appearance of alliance between dell and AMD was considered as one of the main AMD achievements to improve the image of its production. This week investors nervously reacted to the disappearance of some AMD based system proposals from Dell site . This computers producer in USA has his own developed retail network, and many buyers prefer to order computers directly from Dell site. Last Friday Dell noticed that the propagation of some consumer computers models based on AMD processors was changed: such computer are no more sold through the site, but as before it is possible to purchase them in online stores, and also directly from Dell by telephone. Due to such information AMD action fell by 4,7%, but Dell representatives cleared up the situation . This producer does not intend to reject the collaboration with AMD, simply current change in the products propagation diagram forces Dell to remove from its site some computers models on base of AMD processors . Only some notebook models and desktop computers disappeared from Dell site . In a word, there is nothing tragic about Dell and AMD. | ||
