At CES 2016 Doki Technologies company introduced "smart" watches DokiWatch, designed for children. They are working on Android platform , have a 1.22-inch touchscreen display, as well as have everything you need for parents so that they can control what happens to their children.
This watch is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera mounted above the display, SOS button in case of danger, module 3G, and a slot for Micro SIM-cards. They also allow to track the location of a child through the GPS module and Wi-Fi, and of course for the cell signal.
At the core lies DokiWatch platform MediaTek MT6627 single-chip dual-core Cortex A7 with 1.3GHz and 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory and battery capacity of 600 mAh, which, however, will only last for a day of active use. Note that the watches are made in impact-resistant case, which is also protected from dust and moisture.
The clock operates on the Android 4.4 operating system with an adapted interface, and in the future, the manufacturer promises to upgrade the system. The parents can always contact their child, or simply find out where their child are, there is a special application for Android and iOS.
Funds for the release DokiWatch collected by site Kicksterter. Currently, "smart" watches for children are available for $ 130. They are available in yellow, red, blue and gray colors. Supply unit will begin in May. Related Products :
