In a paper published last month about the features of the architecture documentation Polaris, AMD mentions about geometric advantage compared to rival graphics solutions.  Although the last name is not called, it is clear that we are talking about NVIDIA and 16-nm process technology  TSMC's design, in which are produced  Pascal generation graphics processors.  Among them,  must be said, are quite large specimens like the same GP102, recently decorate NVIDIA Titan X graphics card. AMD does not miss a chance to point out that the 14-nm process by GlobalFoundries - the most advanced on the transistor density among those that are currently used for the production of graphics processors.
