GELID Solutions has introduced an updated version of the processor cooling system Tranquillo. This is the fourth revision of Tranquillo cooler, and as developers say they have managed strong enough to improve the performance and other characteristics of the cooling system, in comparison with the previous version.
As with previous versions, the updated Tranquillo cooler features four copper U-shaped heat pipes, which are directly in contact with the processor cover. The new version of the cooling system has received quite a massive radiator, which design has been finalized, and now provides a low resistance to air flow, compared to the previous version.
For air cooling radiator GELID Tranquillo Rev 4.0 corresponds to a 120-mm fan, equipped with smart PWM regulator that provides a smooth increase in the speed of rotation, depending on the CPU temperature. According to the manufacturer, this allows to keep the minimum noise level when the maximum cooling efficiency. Fan speed may vary between 750 and 1600 r / min, the noise level is within 12 - 26.7 dB. Note that on the other side of the radiator can be fixed one more fan.
The novelty is compatible with most current CPU sockets, except for LGA 2011 (-3), and its dimensions are 87 x 128 x 154 mm and weighs 580 g Processor cooling system GELID Tranquillo Rev 4.0 has already entered the market in some regions, and its recommended price is 30 euros. Related Products :
