Samsung has started mass production of mobile processors Exynos 7570. The new Samsung chip is designed for low cost mobile devices.
Samsung new chipset consists of a quad-core processor and has to find its way into an entry-level smartphones. It will be the first chip in its class, built on 14-nanometer FinFET process. This means that the Exynos 7570 consumes 30% less energy and at the same time provides a 70 percent performance boost compared to its predecessors, issued on 28-nanometer rules.
The structure of the SoC Exynos 7570 platform includes four core Cortex-A52. Exynos 7570 supports displays with resolution up to 1280x720 pixels, the camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels and the ability to record video in Full HD. It also has support for LTE Cat.4, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and even FM-radio.
While the Exynos 7570 is focused on low cost devices for Samsung mid-range smartphones developed eight-core chip Exynos 7870, which is also produced on 14-nanometer process technology. It consists of eight core Cortex-A53 cores and supports screens with higher resolution than the Exynos 7570. Related Products :
