Not long ago, manufacturers of video cards together rushed to optimize the algorithm of regular cooling systems, allowing fans of some graphics cards models to switch off until the graphic processor specific temperature threshold. Of course, this solved the noise problem when working with low load on the graphics system.
Graphic giant Palit decided to prove that passive video card cooling system is not dead-end branch of evolution, and it is still in place in the market. At least, if we talk about the video card GeForce GTX 1050 Ti KalmX series.
According to Palit, cooling operating at frequencies 1290/1392/7000 MHz graphics card GeForce GTX Ti 1050 with four gigabytes of GDDR5 memory is enough cooling system consisting of a copper base with two heatpipes and an array of nickel-plated radiator fins, which approximates to the shape of the graphics card angles in some of the parallelepiped. video dimensions do not exceed 182 x 142 x 40 mm, which allows it to occupy a space of exactly two expansion slots.
On the back was a place one port DVI, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort. Consuming less than 75 watts, the graphics card does not require an additional power connector.
