On June , intel will present the first mobile platform intel centrino 2 (Montevina). Its basic special features are FSB 1066 MHz, mobile chipset 45 Express (Cantiga) and support to DDR2 and DDR3 memory : Centrino 2 is the incremental update Of santa rosa.

However, intel centrino 2 will coincide with the release of multiprocessor mobile graphical solutions (AMD).

Known under the code name m88, the solution AMD (ATI) mobility radeon HD 3870 X2 will be supported by intel centrino 2 platform . The working model was shown on IDF 2008.

Today appeared the photographs of video adapter mobility radeon HD 3870 X2 installed in Centrino 2 motherboard.

The adapter mobility radeon HD 3870 X2 is made in the MXM module form , installed in PCI express x16 (Gen 2) and equipped with an air cooling system .

Omg??? Is that the same as with the desktop ati radeon 3870 card? wow it\'s gonna be even better than the nvidia geforce 8800m..! Coz u know 8800m is worse than desktop 8800 gt and desktop ati radeon 3870 is better than it :) yaaay
