The first reviews of three core processors phenom X3 allowed us to understand that with the present prices they are sufficiently competitive in tasks developed with multithreaded support , especially this concerned cheap low-end model. From other sides, most program did not work effectively with more than two cores. For this reason AMD decided in the third quarter to replace Phenom X3 8450 (2.1 GHz) by Phenom X3 8550 (2.2 GHz). The wholesale price of this processor will remain as before. This replacement will allow to increase the attractiveness of low-end model phenom X3 and also to boost the frequencies . | ||
