Announced in September, the flagship mobile processor MediaTek Helio X30 tested in the Geekbench benchmark.
According to GSMArena, in Geekbench it has been tested a prototype of certain devices based on the flagship 10 core processor MediaTek Helio X30 (MT6799) with 6 GB of RAM. It runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system.
A prototype based on Helio X30 scored 1492 points in the Geekbench benchmark in single core and 4473 points in multi-core mode. Its result is lower than that of smartphones with processors Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821. Huawei Mate 9 based on Kirin 960 in the core test gained 1,900 points. In its multi-core mode index higher than that of devices on Helio X30.
Recall, MediaTek Helio X30 is focused primarily on the flagship mobile devices. Its release on 10-nanometer process technology will be engaged Taiwanese company TSMC. The composition of Helio X30 includes two Cortex-A73 cores with a clock speed of 2.8 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A35 processor with a clock frequency of 2 GHz and graphics accelerator PowerVR 7XTP-MT4. The new chip supports up to 8 GB of RAM, cellular networks LTE Cat.10, as well as camera with
a resolution of 40 megapixels and with video recording at 4K resolution. Start of production MediaTek Helio X30 is scheduled for early 2017, and the first smartphone based on the new processor will be in the second half. Related Products :
