In CES 2008 exhibition , arctic cooling company already demonstrated the processor cooler freezer xtreme. Yesterday arctic cooling company announced this cooler officially. Two radiators consist on 102 edges, with four thermal tubes each. Between the radiators , we have a 120 mm fan with pulse-width modulation (PWM). The rotation speed varies from 800 to 1500 rp/min it pumps through 60,7 cu. M air per hour, but the noise level in this case does not exceed 0,5 sones. For comparison - regular fan of core 2 Extreme QX9770 (3.2 GHz) processor rotate at 2850 rp/min, and in this case the noise is at 1,75 sones. Freezer xtreme is about 17 degree Celsius cooler . Producer declares, that this cooler is capable to remove up to 160 W of heat from any processor LGA 775 or Socket 939/AM2/AM2+.
