It was considered that the announcement of mobile platform intel centrino 2 (Montevina) was planned for the second-half of June. However, as reports associate with the reference to analysts data , intel company decided to transfer the announcement of mobile platform centrino 2 to 14 July, 2008. Reason for such delay served certain problems with chipset and wireless connection adapters . Intel also is working on better driver for those integrated chipsets. It is completely possible that this problem served as the main reason for delay in the announcement Of centrino 2. AMD company will present its mobile platform puma already in third June this year. The mobile processors griffin in its composition will obtain the name turion ultra, and integrated chipset RS780M (780G) will be able to work with the discrete video cards mobility radeon 3450/3650/3850. The standard notebook sizes will be from 12.1 to 17 inch. | ||
