Since the demand on high performance graphical solutions for the mobile systems grows in proportion to an increase in the popularity of laptop computers , GPU producers always present new products in this region.

AMD in the middle of summer, presented the external graphic platform with PCI express 2.0 interface  : ATI XGP (external graphics platform). NVIDIA company presented a faster GPU, as earlier designed for installation inside the laptop computer.

Yesterday, as unique answer to the release of new AMD product , NVIDIA presented a new high end product in this category. This is the mobile GPU quadro FX, which support the technology NVIDIA CUDA parallel computing processor.

According to NVIDIA, mobile work stations with new GPU series quadro FX is already proposed by dell, Fujitsu siemens computers, HP and Lenovo companies. In the configuration of the fastest  card quadro FX 3700M enter 128 core CUDA parallel computing processor and 1 GB graphic memory, connected with the 256- bit bus.

The list of supported technologies includes OpenGL 2.1, Shader model 4.0 and DirectX 10.f powerMizer 8.0. In the average segment , NVIDIA presented the model quadro FX 2700M with 48 processor CUDA parallel computing and 512 mb GDDR3 memory . It is oriented to the segment of 17- inches laptop computers. The models quadro FX 1700M and Quadro FX 770M with 32 core CUDA parallel computing processor and Quadro FX 370M with 8 core are intended for laptop computers with 15,4 and 14,1 inches screens .
