AMD company showed in action its new technology, which build realistic images . In other words, the images of characters in computer games, which exist only in computer memory , become very similar to the real people.





The technology, which was called Cinema 2.0, was presented in June with the release of graphic processor RV770. Besides games, one additional field of cinema 2.0 application can become films.
The principle of volumetric models construction is built on the survey from the different real actor in the special studio, equipped with large number of cameras. Obtained data are analyzed and serve as basis for further construction of images in real time. This allow to accurately produce mimicry and it is plausible to transfer all nuances of illumination and color.
