These processors will require not only a new cooler, but also a new motherboards . Finally, in order to unlock the full potential of core i7 processors it is desirable to use the three-channel memory collections DDR- 3, capable of working at high frequencies with low voltages.
Since NVIDIA do not plan the release ( currently ) chipset for LGA 1366 platform and AMD/ATI chipset for Intel processors are not released for long time , the only chipset for core i7 processors will become Intel x58.

Yesterday associate noted that motherboard on base Of Intel x58 from asus and Gigabyte production can appear already in the second-half of October. According to available data, Asus prefers to realize SLI support using the most expensive : chip nForce 200 SLI, whereas Gigabyte is ready to be satisfied by the less expensive version with the bios key. The retail price of Intel x58 will be above $250.

Simultaneously associate reported that asus company will reduces the prices of its motherboards , based on Intel p45 chipset.
