AMD Company officially presented the first in the world graphic processors, produced according to the 40 nm standards: ATI mobility Radeon HD 4860 and ATI mobility Radeon HD 4830. Those video cards support Microsoft directX 10.1, HD video acceleration and are characterized by the increased energy effectiveness.
Passage to the thinner technical process standards allowed to decrease the crystal dimensions and to decrease the energy consumption. The new GPU use the technologies ATI powerPlay, ATI powerXpress and ATI switchable graphics.  The processor ATI mobility radeon HD 4830 is calculated for GDDR3 or DDR3 memory , the model ATI mobility radeon HD 4860 supports GDDR5 memory. The latter is already selected for use in the prepared for release ASUS notebooks. These mobile GPU will be available from the second quarter. Related Products : | ||
