The producers of integrated microcircuits heavily survive the world economic crisis. In their case the decrease in the world economy was reflected precisely on the DRAM market : the increase in the production capacities led to a sharp reduction in the prices of appropriate production. In the course of several months, we observed many situations, when the microcircuits market cost is close to the prime cost . This does not allow producers to obtain sufficient profit  for the effective work of their enterprises. One of the first victims became qimonda company  , which already declared about its practically unavoidable bankruptcy, and now searches for  investors. Now many producers stopped the production of DRAM- chips, which had to raise the prices of Dram. According to analytical reports , reduction in the DRAM- chip prices is observed already during three weeks, and the strongest decrease was fixed on 13 March – immediately by 4,5 percent, in comparison with the previous week. Thus, the cost of virtual micro-chip with 1 Gbit  capacity composes now 97 cents. This only 21% higher than the minimum, fixed for the period of 52 weeks, which composes 80 cents. It is possible that soon it will be possible to speak about the catastrophically low cost of memory microcircuits . Related Products :
