The right to support SLI was originally added only to the selected motherboards on base of Intel x58 chipset, recently gigabyte and MSI companies added SLI support in all models from their own production. Older Intel chipset does not have the right to support SLI, although technical obstacles did not exist. Associates report that certain enthusiast revealed a relatively simple method for SLI activation using old Intel chipset . This technology was tested on Intel x38 and Intel p45 chipset, increase in the performance confirms successful SLI work. Thus far corresponding patch will be available soon . | ||
