NVIDIA sponsored the overclocking experiments for 8800gtx there was even a small video trailer published in previous news. The results of overclock was impressing, but Kinc (The author of this overclock) did not sit there, it even attained higher frequencies in single video card,( these frequency was not dowable in regime SLI ). However, no one doubted, that the new record for those maximally overclocked video card geForce 8800 GTX in regime SLI will be atteined during next days.
As report associates , the known overclocker kinc began experiments on overclock for video card geForce 8800 GTX in regime SLI. The overclock of processor was leavin as last time, now it operates at the frequency of 3.99 GHz using air cooling:  Let us note that we are here over the dual core processor core 2 Extreme x6800 (2.93 GHz), which will for sure show better result using more powerful cooling. the motherboard used is the famous Asus striker extreme on the base of chipset nForce 680i SLI. Video card they were overclocked to the frequencies of 925/2402 MHz, video chip were cooled using cascade freon to minus 78 degree Celsiuss under load:  Result in the test of 3DMark2003 composed 84 244 marks, this is new world record. Record with this result will not remain for long time- the overclock of processor will improve this achievements. Here is screen shot of the record holder system :-)
