Intel company extended a document , chipset Intel p55 expects passage from stepping B2 to stepping B3.
Intel did not give distinct explanation apropos of new stepping reasons. It mentioned only compatibility with chipset stepping B2 and the absence of need for modifying the printed-circuit board design . For the work with new stepping chipset Intel p55 a micro-code updates is required. Furthermore, this will allow the motherboard to work with the future processors models . Intel recommends to update the driver, which corresponds to data-collecting devices.
The graph of chipset Intel p55 updates surprisingly coincides with the graph of 32 nm processors core i3/i5. The first copies of chipset Intel p55 of stepping B3 will be accessible to clients in 7 December 2009, and scale deliveries will be expanded in 5 February 2010.
