The motherboard ASRock p55 extreme4 is ready to propose to users four ports SATA-600 and four ports USB 3.0. In the latter case two ports are brought to the rear panel, two on the front panel.  Besides four ports SATA-600 white color, on the motherboard are located six ports SATA-300 dark-blue color. ASRock doubled the quantity of Marvell and NEC controllers integrated on the motherboard. The most interesting, that in this case are preserved three PCI express x1 and two ports PCI express x16, which with the installation of two video card work according to x8 + x8. For the company engineers, it was possible to distribute eight lines PCI express x1 south bridge ICH10 between the following devices: three slots PCI express x1, gigabit net controller, two controllers SATA-600 and two controllers USB 3.0. Thus, old cooler from LGA 775 processor can be installed to the motherboard with LGA 1156 processor. According to the producer, ASRock p55 extreme4 can work with memory in the regime DDR 3-2600.
