After becoming bankrupt the Japanese company elpida obtained the license to the production of GDDR3 and GDDR5 memory from qimonda , but, until now for these needs were used the production capacities of the Taiwan company winbond. At winbond factories for Elpida, until now were released GDDR5 and GDDR3 microcircuits with one gigabit density.    As reports the official press releases on elpida site, in the next months at the personal factory of Hiroshima company will start the mass production of GDDR5 memory microcircuits  with  two gigabits density. According to the producer, this will allow the company rapidly to react on the need of market. The first models are 2 gigabit microcircuits GDDR5 will appear during July, and mass production will start in the third quarter present year. The clock frequency of these chips can reach 7 GHz.
