NVIDIA Corporation has unveiled an updated professional graphics card Quadro M6000. The new version will replace the original card, from which it differs by increased in half video memory volume . In other respects, identical to the new card, released about a year ago.
Video Card Quadro M6000 is based on the full GM200 Maxwell GPU with architecture. This chip runs at 988 MHz and includes 3072 CUDA cores, 192 texture units and 96 raster operator units. Novelty is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR5 video memory with a frequency of 6600 MHz, which is connected via a 384-bit bus. Performance graphics card is 7 teraflops in single-precision operations.
NVIDIA Quadro M6000 is equipped with a video output DVI and four DisplayPort 1.2, and supports display output simultaneously on four monitors with a resolution of 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels). New card supports nView technology, GPUDirect, SLI, CUDA, OpenCL, DirectCompute, Mosaic and Quadro Sync. Also supported are the API, like DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.5 and Vulkan. It is reported that the version of the graphics card Quadro M6000 with 24 GB of memory will also cost as its predecessor with 12 GB GDDR5 - about $ 5,000.
