In the first quarter 2011 Intel company plans to release the new series of central processors with designation code sandy bridge. Dual or four core integrated microcircuits, prepared on 32- nm technological process, and intended for LGA 1155 motherboards- socket H2 LGA 1155. Later company plans to release model for enthusiasts: six-core and 8 core processors socket R, or LGA 2011. In comparison with the present generation central processors with integrated video, the following video chip generation will be distinguished by the increased productivity of graphic core.
All central processors new generation will belong to the series of micros-chip Intel core : Intel core i3/i5/i7. To the digital index they will add the number 2, and the complete models designation will appear as follows: Core i 3-2300/Core i 5-2500/core i 7-2800.
Let us finally note. It occurs, that the most popular series of Intel central processors remains Intel Pentium.
