Yesterday, Intel announced the long-awaited server processor generation Sandy Bridge-EP, Xeon E5-26xx . The processors are manufactured on 32 nm technology, support four-channel memory, with up to eight physical cores with support for Hyper-Threading, equipped with a cache in the third level of up to 20 MB. The rate of information exchange via QPI up to 8 gigahertz per second. The TDP level not more than 130-150 watts, it uses the design concept LGA 2011.
