In August, Gigabyte made a statement that several of its motherboards has full support for PCIe Gen 3, and placed the slogan Ready for Native PCIe Gen.  3. MSI company, which became one of the first to promote the new standard, conducted an engineering inspection of motherboards with the requested support.  This inspection revealed fraud on the part of Gigabyte. MSI engineers prepared a presentation : to explain to users that support of new standard in accordance to the specifications, is much more than just a sticker on the packaging.
