The idea of sharing solid state memory and traditional hard drive to take the advantage of both storage systems types is not new. During Computex 2011 OCZ company demonstrated a hybrid drive RevoDrive Hybrid, which is designed as a PC Card slot for PCI Express x4.  The operation principle is obvious: the solid-state memory, which amounts to 128 GB, acts as a cache for mechanical drive part .   hard drive capacity is 1 TB and there is 128 GB solid state memory , speed performance in sequential read operations reach 910 MB / s, write speed  810 MB / sec.  Number of I / O tasks with random blocks of 4 KB is 120 000.  Used memory chip MLC NAND, made on 25-nm process, dual SandForce 2281, hard disk with 5400 RPM  , and caching algorithms implemented by Dataplex software . Drive dimensions are 98.42 x 167.64 x 22.15 mm and weight 289 grams.  The board has a two-slot structure, hard drive from Toshiba has a thickness of 5.12 mm  which occupies one expansion slot.  As supported operating system we have Microsoft Windows 7 ( software version for other systems is under  development). 	No only one , but u will need the space of 2 Slot
