Toshiba company completed work on remarkable LCD-display, designed for mobile devices. At 6.1 inches the resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels. Thus, Toshiba display has a density of 498 dots per inch, leaving behind iPhone screen ( DPI equal to 326). Contrast of new display is 1000: 1. While the new product is intended only for 2D mode, however, Toshiba may create autostereoscopic image that will not require glasses. High resolution displays can provide a clear pictures even if half pixels will have to be sacrificed for 3D-technology. The official release of this product should take place this week. | ||
