Together with the upcoming releases of Sandy Bridge E processors, the leading motherboard manufacturers showed their motherboard versions . Gigabyte proposed four motherboards based on x79 chipsets - G1.Assassin 2, x79-UD7, x79-UD5 and x79-UD3. The following new LGA 2011 motherboards use 3-way digital technology supply, have four or eight (model x79-UD5) slots, DDR3 memory, up to ten ports SATA (both 6.0 Gb / s and 3.0 Gb / s), three (G1 . Assassin 2, X79-UD5) or four (x79-UD7, x79-UD3) PCI-Express x16 slot, Gigabit Ethernet adapters, 7.1-channel audio, USB 3.0 connectivity, and various other features and advantages. G1.Assassin 2, for example, is equipped with a network adapter 2100 Killer NIC and audio processor, Creative X-Fi, and x79-UD7 model has two SATA ports and dedicated buttons for overclock. The official announcement of those motherboards from Gigabyte will be in the coming weeks. | ||
