During IDF 2013, Gigabyte showed an engineering sample board G1.Assassin 3 chipset Intel X79 Express. Size of ATX motherboard is designed for processors LGA 2011. Processor is built on 9 phase scheme using voltage regulators PowIRstage manufacturer International Rectifier. On each side of the CPU socket are eight slots for memory DIMM DDR3 total of up to 64 GB. Expandability is provided by four slots PCI-Express 3.0 x16 and two PCI-Express 2.0 x1. Equipment on board includes four SATA 6 Gb / s and SATA 3Gb / s ports, two Gigabit Ethernet, expansion cards with wireless interfaces Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. There are six USB 3.0 ports and ports of USB 2.0. The manufacturer also notes the existence of the audio system based on the Creative Sound Core3D with low noise DAC and removable operational amplifier. | ||
