In the current quarter, Acer will release about 250-300 thousand ultrabooks, in the second quarter, the company plans to increase this amount by half.  In the same period will be released four new ultrabook models: one in the series S3, S5, Timeline Ultra 14 and Timeline Ultra 15.   Jim Wang report, that the producers are not interested in a short price drop for ultrabooks, because the current pricing policy allows them to earn more than normal laptops.   In the segment of tablets Acer managed last year to sell about two million of respective products, but in the current period, the company has chosen the tactics of the conservative models range.  Acer Tablet will range from $ 299 to $ 499.  Annual market estimates Acer Tablet 10-20 million.
