Apple company could revise some models due to lack of notebook graphics solutions Kepler.
Associate explains that this shift in Apple priorities resulted in Intel need to shift the supply schedule of Ivy Bridge processors. It was thought that these processors will be released in early April, but now we can say that in late April, will feature only the leading desktop models Ivy Bridge. Part of Core i5 series processors for desktop computers will be presented on 3 June.
Colleagues reported that Intel had to rebuild the delivery schedule for Ivy Bridge to better meet the needs of major customer. Customer need more mobile processors with low power consumption, including a version with a more powerful graphics system. Obviously, desktop processors Ivy Bridge remained outside the priority schedule, so their delivery is slightly delayed.
