Intel has changed the claimed heat emission level of Ivy Bridge processors.  It is assumed that this was due to problem with the production of products on 22nm technology. Assocaite reported that the processor Core i7-3770K, in spite of the claimed 95 watts is characterized by heat at 77 watts and below.  One of the reasons why Intel decided to make the confusion was the desire of the manufacturer to keep the maximum TDP for the processor LGA 1155, equal to 95 watts, at the specifications level. These measures do not allow motherboard manufacturers to produce solutions, which voltage converters are powered circuits with consumption above 77 watts (otherwise, it will reduce considerably the list of supported processors and takes a lot of inconvenience to end users).  Also, some optimistic speculation credited Intel plans to release six-core processor architecture Ivy Bridge LGA 1155 with TDP 95 watts.
