At a meeting with investors, Paul Otellini (Paul Otellini),  Intel CEO, described the intent of CPU giant in market for tablet PCs.  According to Mr. Otellini, Intel has an advantage over the British holding company ARM. Intel Head believes that the experience of developing x86-compatible solutions, as well as a rich ecosystem of software, optimized for this platform will allow Intel to gain the market after the release of tablet with operating system, Windows 8, which is scheduled for autumn this year.  OS Windows RT (special version for ARM-compatible processors), in turn, will require some time to appear. Intel oversees the development, at least 20 models of tablets, based on Atom processor will be used by Cloverview generations.  The company is also interested in the production of a large number of Ivy Bridge processor for ultrabook , some will be equipped with a touchscreen.
