Today, Intel introduced a new version of vPro technology, which is implemented in the CPU Core third generation, produced on 22 nm technology. The advantages of proposed technology can be used by any compatible device (ultrabook, classic notebooks, desktops, workstations and PC-class all in one). Solutions with support for vPro are designed to create intelligent systems used in industry, medicine, commerce and other industries. Under the name vPro are combined three technologies that extend the management functions , virtualization and security. Intel Active Management, provides remote management and maintenance of the device, even if it is disabled or has a software problem; Intel Virtualization, accelerating the processes of managing the platform and the movement of data between different virtual operating systems, and Intel Trusted Execution, which protects the device and the virtual environment from the threats at the system level. Simultaneously with the announcement of processors Core third generation technology, vPro, Intel released a new version of the utility Setup and Configuration Software (Intel SCS), necessary to configure and work with network-attached devices that support vPro.
