According to some data, qimonda and Advantest company are intended  together to develop equipment for testing GDDR5 memory chips . Let us recall,  that GDDR5 memory , in the opinion of specialists, must arrive as change for GDDR3. According to some estimations, after four years it will engage 90% of the high end solutions in video memory market . In particular Qimonda develops similar memory for futures video card on base of graphic processors AMD r700 and NVIDIA g90/100  . It is assumed that collaboration with Advantest will allow to decrease expenses for testing the produced chips and also will fix mass testing GDDR5 in series production. Standard GDDR5 is located in JEDEC development stage , but this does not prevent producers from solving problems connected with the mass memory production  .qimonda expect to show in public the first GDDR5 chips  in the present year  , release series will be expanded for future.
