The latest development from Max Planck Institute experts in Germany is interesting. Scientists have developed a method for forming a 3D image with backward compatibility.
In other words, the image for those wearing glasses is seen as 3D , without them looks like a normal. Thus, users can choose in which format they watch the video without interfering with each other. Features of this technology has not yet been disclosed, but we know that it is based on Cornsweet illusion. An example of this illusion can be seen in the illustration, the two halves of rectangle have the same brightness, as can be seen, blocking the line separating them. The above development was conducted for the University of Saarland in Germany and France's Telecom Paris, and has been licensed Canadian TandemLaunch Technologies to improve and commercialize.
