We have already reported that AMD is planning to implement hybrid processors with disabled Trinity graphics engine under the brand name Athlon II . All processors will have Socket FM2, quad models are characterized by 4 MB cache, and TDP value , equal to 65 or 100 watts.
Associates found on AMD site documentation, dated from last month, which refers to the Sempron processors Socket FM2. Apparently, from the generation of Athlon II processors (Trinity), they will differ by the reduced to 2 MB cache, and a more conservative memory mode: DDR3-1600 DDR3-1866 instead. In the case of dual-core Sempron cache size is reduced to 1 MB.
Of course, the integrated graphics processor in Sempron Socket FM2 will be also disabled.
When these processors will be available and will be available in retail stores is not specified. In the desktop segment the announcement of Trinity processors, will start in 1 October
