Intel leadership yesterday reduced the forecast revenue for the third quarter current fiscal year.
The range of expected revenue for the period now starts at $ 12.9 billion and ends at $ 13.5 billion , although in the last quarter, it started with a $ 13.8 billion and ended with $ 14.8 billion in other words, Intel expects to receive in the current quarter almost a billion dollars less than previously expected. Difficult macroeconomic conditions again caused a decline in demand for the company's products, so the forecast had to be adjusted.
The rate of profit in the third quarter may stay within 61-63%, although Intel previously asked a range of 61% to 65%. Expenditure on research and development and acquisitions in the third quarter will remain at the same level, but the capital investment Intel wants to keep at no more than $ 12.1 billion for the whole current year.
