The memory DDR 3-1066 already proved its ability to overclock in single-channel regime to frequencies 2200-2222 MHz DDR. Certainly, such high frequencies were accompanied by sufficiently relaxed latencies .
As reports associate, on exhibition computex 2007 , some memory producers will demonstrate the DDR- 3 modules , which work at frequency more than 2000 MHz DDR.

JEDEC plans to certify four basic memory types : DDR 3-800, DDR 3-1066, DDR 3-1333 and DDR 3-1600. Already now many motherboards support DDR 3-1333. On essence, the passage on DDR- 3 open new frequency horizons ; therefore overclockers and memory producers are ready to use this advantage .

Here for example it is possible to reveal the experiment with overclock of modules DDR 3-1066 using micron chips in dual-channel regime to frequency 2036 MHz DDR with the latency value 9-7-6-20 and voltage 1.5 v.
