At the recent quarterly reporting conference , AMD representatives designated a new goal - to increase the share of revenues from the production of hybrid processors for embedded solutions up to 20% by the end of this year. For three years, subject to other promising development areas, AMD will increase the share of proceeds from such activities to 40-50%.
AMD vice president and director of embedded solutions explained how the work of the company will be based in this area. Now for the development of a new product for the client goes from 36 to 60 months - that is, from three to five years. Delivery of finished product shall be made within five to seven years, at least. This allows not only to justify the development of a long process, but somehow provide a stable financial company revenues.
