AMD introduced the final specifications of the reference sample of its newest dual-GPU graphics card Radeon HD 7990 (code-named Malta). New card built on a black PCB under the bus PCI Express 3.0 x16, based on two 28-nm chips Tahiti XT, there are 8.6 billion transistors forming 4096 stream processors, 256 texture units and 64 raster units .Processors support architecture Graphics Core Next (GCN). Also there is 6 GB (3 GB for each GPU) of GDDR5 memory and 384-bit memory interface, two 8-pin connector for additional power. Basic graphics core frequency is 1000 MHz and effective memory clock 6 GHz. Memory bandwidth is 576 GB / s, the overall performance of the graphics adapter reaches 8,2 TFLOPS, and a TDP will be at 375 watts. The rear panel has four outputs Mini DisplayPort and one Dual Link DVI port.
