NEC has announced two budget tablets LaVie Tab E. In both updates the processors to MediaTek.
The older model TE510/N1B is equipped with a display diagonal of 10.1 inch IPS 1280 x 800 pixels and SoC MediaTek MT8125. As part of the latter is quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz and GPU PowerVR SGX 544 MP1. The amount of RAM is 1 GB of built-in flash memory - 32 GB.
The list of characteristics NEC LaVie Tab E TE510/N1B also include two cameras (resolution of 5 megapixel and 3), wireless modules Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, a slot for memory cards microSD, video output Micro HDMI, stereo speakers.
The junior model TE307/N1W simpler resolution 7-inch is 1024 x 600 pixels, the amount of internal flash memory is 16 GB RAM - 1 GB. The base for the product performs SoC MediaTek MT8317, has in its composition a dual-core CPU ARM Cortex-A9 1.2 GHz and GPU PowerVR SGX 531.
NEC LaVie Tab E TE307/N1W also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and is also equipped with a microSD slot and stereo speakers, but the camera is only one - a resolution of 3 megapixels.
Dimensions, weight and battery life NEC LaVie Tab E TE510/N1B - 260 x 180 x 8.6 mm, 560 grams and 6.5 hours (video playback), respectively. The same parameters for younger model - 121 x 199 x 10.7 mm, 350 grams and 6 hours, respectively.
NEC LaVie Tab E TE307/N1W is now available in Japan, which costs about $ 185. Sales of NEC LaVie Tab E TE510/N1B in China will start the first of November, this model is priced at $ 360.
