Intel company already stated that in 2008 it will release its first processor for notebook with four core. If we consider that in the present year , intel presented the mobile processors series core 2 Extreme with free multiplier and TDP level not more than 44 W, then in the near future we can see four core processor as replacement. Notebook on base of desktop processors core 2 Quad , is already proposed by some producers . With the reference to official intel document  , this company will announce four core mobile processor in the second-half 2008. Thus, first mobile intel four core will have a TDP level  not more than 45 W. In the rest state , the energy consumption level will be reduced to 3-4 W due to the use of advanced energy states. This processor will support 1066 MHz system bus and it is equipped with 2 X 6 mb cache in the second level. Packing with 35 X 35 mm sizes will be socket P compatible ; however, for compatibility with notebook class montevina there must be a certain adaptation at the hardware level. The cost of these measures is evaluated at $1-2 for each notebook. Dual core mobile processors core 2 Extreme after passage to 45 nm technical process can operate at 3.06 GHz frequency  . It is completely possible that in the second-half 2008 intel will be able to place processor with four core and sufficiently high frequency in the thermal packet 45 W .
