Every year, MSI holds one of the largest events in the world of competitive overclocking - Master Overclocking Arena. Participation in the contest is open to enthusiasts from around the world, but only the best overclocking masters will get a voucher for a grand finale, where valuable prizes and, of course, the title of Champion for overclocking.
This year's competition will be the MOA seventh. During the qualifying round, which starts July 1, MSI will determine 18 finalists. According to regulations, overclockers can participate in the qualifying stage or class A, or Class B, and the final will get no more than one representative of his country in each class. In the first case, the division operates on regions (America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa), each of which defined its timeframe. Participants in the class B by geography can not be separated.
Prerequisite for participation in the class A is to use MSI motherboard based on chipset Z97, the corresponding processor (server model is not allowed) and a series of MSI Radeon R9. As competitive disciplines selected SuperPi 32M, 3DMark 03 and Unigine Heaven.
In class B may use the motherboard chipsets MSI Z97 or Z87, Pentium G3258 CPU and the GeForce GTX 750, and a set of benchmarks included SuperPi 32M, Cinebench R15, XTU, 3DMark Fire Strike and 3DMark 03. Related Products :
