ASUS Company released new motherboard series ROG - Maximus extreme/formula. This motherboard is Equipped with chipset Intel x38 witch proposes good overclock possibilities , this solution is suitable for overclocker and gamers.  The technology ASUS fusion block system with thermal tube and the specially developed radiator allow to connect a water cooling system , in this case it does not require a chipset radiator replacement   . With the Fusion block system users can attain the simultaneous cooling of power transistors, north and south bridges, which allow to reach high performance during reliable cooling. Asus ROG maximus extreme/formula proposes to users two unique functions, which give the possibility to increase the processor performance  without excess expenditures. The function CPU level Up : it is simply necessary  to select the desired frequency, and motherboard, will make the rest . the second function - Extreme tweaker – gives the possibility to optimize different setting step by step and allow serious overclockers to attain greater system performance  . Created specially for gamer, the motherboard ROG maximus extreme can support several graphic adapters. Furthermore, it is equipped with the technology ASUS crosslinx, which use a special controller, distributes the lines PCIe and allow each slots to work in x8 regime . Three video card in crossFire regime : x16, x8, x8 instead of x16, x16, x4. Power optimization is also important in order to reach high performance. The technology voltiminder LED helps users to follow the processor voltage, north and south bridges and memory. The technology COP EX allow to increase chipset voltage without overheating.
