This past Thursday, September 4, HP has released a new line of devices, which includes notebooks HP Envy x2, tablet HP Pavilion x2, as well as two compact notebook on a cloud platform, Chrome OS.
HP Envy x2 are portable computers with a modular system that can be connected to a wireless Bluetooth-keyboard and use it as a tablet computer. They are available in two versions with different screen sizes: 13.3 and 15.6 inches. In both cases, the IPS-resolution screen with WLED-backlit is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Computers are based on processors Intel Core M and running the operating system Windows 8.1. Bluetooth-keyboard is backlit and covered with cloth. For data storage, a 15-inch version is highlighted on the hard disk of 500 GB, and 13-inch - Solid State Drive SSD with a capacity of 256 GB.
HP Pavilion x2 is a full-featured 10-inch Windows-tablet, which with the help of a removable keyboard-cover is easily converted into a full-fledged laptop. It is based on Intel Atom processor and is equipped with a battery that provides up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The cost and the commencement date of sales:
- 13.3-inch HP ENVY x2 will be available from the 29th of October at a price of $ 1049.99;
- 15.6-inch HP ENVY x2 will be available starting on November 5 at $ 949.99;
- HP Pavilion x2 will be available from the 29th of October at a price of, 329.99;
- 11-inch HP Chromebook will be available starting at 5 October at a price of $ 279.99;
- 14-inch HP Chromebook will be available starting October 22 at a price of $ 299.99.
